This barrier island is located right off the coast of Maryland and Virginia in the USA. It's best know for it's herds of wild ponies (though they're more the size of horses...) Bridge access for cars is possible from both Maryland and Virginia, though no road runs the full length of the island. I stayed at Seashore National Park and as usual I camped in my old Westfalia.
